Who’s Responsible for This? Oh Right, Me.
Devin Weiss
Learning Experience Designer
Texas
Hi, I’m Devin Weiss—Senior Instructional Designer by day, photographer by… well, also by day (and sometimes night). I have a knack for turning complex ideas into engaging learning experiences and capturing moments that tell a story.
At Lexipol, I craft learning content that doesn’t put people to sleep. My approach combines educational theory with a dash of creativity to make learning actually enjoyable.
When I’m not designing courses, you’ll find me behind the lens, chasing the perfect shot that speaks louder than words.
Weissography is my digital playground where I showcase my dual passions. Whether you’re here to explore my instructional design projects, browse through my photography, or just curious about the person behind the name, welcome!

Public Educator (Various)
Before diving into the world of instructional design, I spent several years in the classroom, teaching science across various grade levels. It was during this time that I discovered my knack for creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences. From flipping classrooms to experimenting with augmented reality tools, I was always on the lookout for innovative ways to make science come alive. These experiences not only honed my teaching skills but also ignited a passion for designing effective learning environments—a passion that continues to drive my work today.

Master-at-Arms (USN)
Serving as a Master-at-Arms for six and a half years on active duty, I found more than discipline and structure—I discovered my passion for learning and teaching. As a military police officer, I enforced regulations, maintained security, and—perhaps most rewarding—helped train countless new recruits. Somewhere between the early morning inspections and late-night watch, I realized I didn’t just enjoy learning new skills; I thrived on helping others master them too. Ironically, it wasn’t until I left formal schooling that I truly grasped the power of education—and it’s a lesson I’ve carried into every role since.
